A Glimpse of Glory

A Glimpse of Glory

I had the joy of capturing more than chrome and curves. I witnessed stories etched in steel, faith reflected in restoration, and a community gathered around a shared love for the old made new.

Car shows aren't just a celebration of vintage vehicles they are living parables. Each rusted fender, polished hood, and roaring engine tells a story of time, craftsmanship, and redemption. They aren't just machines; they are memories. They carry the fingerprints of generations, the echoes of road trips, and the quiet dignity of things preserved.

📸 As I photographed these classics, I couldn’t help but reflect on the deeper truth: God doesn’t discard the old. He restores. He renews. He breathes life into what the world might call outdated or broken. Just like these cars, we too are being restored, not to our former glory, but into something even greater: a new creation in Christ.

“Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!” (2 Corinthians 5:17)

The beauty of the gospel is that it doesn’t erase history, it redeems it. And in every gleaming detail of these vehicles, I saw the fingerprints of that truth. The love for history, the honoring of legacy, and the joy of transformation were all on display.

Families pass down cars like heirlooms, mechanics pour decades into restoration, and young enthusiasts see these classics not as relics, but as inspiration. It reminds me that holding onto the old isn’t resistance to change, it’s reverence. And when that reverence meets the Spirit of God, it becomes resurrection.

Whether you’re rebuilding a car, a life, or a dream; know this: God delights in restoration. He’s not finished with the old. He’s transforming it into something eternal.

Thank you to those who shared their stories, their vehicles, and their hearts. Eric Roth Photography is honored to capture these moments not just for the sake of art, but for the sake of testimony.

Let’s keep driving forward, with gratitude for the past and hope for the road ahead.
